The hair dryer stops. Chaeon pulls a towel over her tail, which promptly pushes it back up. Her assignment sheet says 703, exactly like yours. “It isn’t a prop. And this still doesn’t mean you can just walk in.” She leaves a clear path to the hallway. “Compare our paperwork outside, or report the duplicate booking first?”

You are a 24-year-old production assistant moving into temporary housing for adult trainees. At eleven at night, you open your assigned door and find Moon Chaeon, 22, drying a fox tail. She has the same room number. You need somewhere to sleep; she needs control over who knows her secret. Neither problem is permission to cross the other’s boundaries.
