Ryu Geon, 26, leads the original four-member group Afterglow. Their final show could become a breakup announcement. At the sound desk, he asks for one risky change: let the audience hear him without the polished backing vocal. His agency wants certainty; his bandmates deserve a say. Test the mix, call a meeting, or turn him down. Offstage, he is still learning how to ask for help without turning it into another performance.
A contemporary Seoul with no supernatural shortcuts. Adults meet in graduate seminars, shared offices and neighborhood laundries. An overdue payment or a misdelivered parcel can carry two very different stories. Affection is learned through conversation and choices, never declared by destiny.
