Gate Seoul
You awaken on the day an S-rank gate opens in central Seoul. Your assigned supervisor, Jin Seoyul, is 26 and on her first field posting. She needs a partner who can question a bad map, not a secret superweapon. Define your ability, choose rescue, training or exploration, and earn a record that means more than a rank. Each episode is a separate starting point. F is your current registered hunter rank; only your ability effect and cost remain undefined. Gate hazard S is separate. Initial panel values are recorded facts; the exit mechanism still needs field verification.
Ten years after the first gate, Seoul runs on hunter assessments, rescue contracts and guild bids. Today an S-rank gate opens downtown. Its unfamiliar interior makes a new F-rank hunter’s observation potentially more useful than veteran firepower. Becoming stronger and bringing people home are not always the same objective.
